　毎年、笹百合の開花時期にあわせ写生に出掛ける場所がある。一週間ほど通っていると、花の周りの草が生い茂り、取材初日に感じた現場の印象が少しずつ変りはじめた。多種多様の植物が生育する地が、それぞれの意味や役割、形を持って何か一つの生命となりそこに在ることに心が突き動かされた。

Every year, I go to a place where I go to sketch when the bamboo lilies are in bloom. After about a week of visiting the site, the grass around the flowers has become overgrown, and the impression I had of the site on the first day of my visit has gradually begun to change. I was moved by the fact that a place where a wide variety of plants grow there has a life of its own, each with its own meaning, role, and form.
