　例年だと雪に埋もれる豪雪地長野県北部、この冬は雪が少なく山の樹木の枯葉が残り、雪の中に赤く輝いていた。雪の白をバックにした赤い林の美しさに惹かれて描いた。

In northern Nagano Prefecture, a region of heavy snowfall that is usually covered with snow, there was little snow this winter, and the dead leaves of mountain trees remained, glowing red in the snow. I was attracted to the beauty of the red forest against the white of the snow.
