大洗漁港

作家のことば

　茨城県の太平洋に面した大洗漁港。自宅から近く、格好の地。追悼に立ち、湾内の滞船と坊波提越しの広い海原に魅かれ描いてきた。
　今回、津波などの防災で新設された巨大水門が完成し、早速モチーフに取り入れた。
　地域の意気を感じるように、形、色彩を単純化して表現した。

The completion of a new giant sluice gate to prevent tsunami and other disasters has been a new motif for this exhibition.
The huge sluice gate, newly constructed to prevent tsunamis and other disasters, was completed this time, and I immediately incorporated it into the motif.
I simplified the shapes and colors to express the spirit of the region.
