冬が来る

作家のことば

　晩秋のオホーツク海岸を目指して旅に出た。初雪がちらちらと降る中、北見峠、美幌峠と北の大地の冬支度に忙しい牧場地帯等の光景を取材し描きました。

I set out on a journey toward the Okhotsk coast in late autumn. I documented and painted scenes of the Kitami Pass, Bihoro Pass, and the ranching areas busy with preparations for winter in the northern land, as the first snow flurried down.
