　春の海というのは、私にゆったりとした心と、ゆっっくり流れる時を呼び覚まします。何といってもその大らかさが魅力で、同時にきめ細やかな明るさは、全てを受け止めてくれる存在です。それを描くとなると、それこそ細かいニュアンスが大切で、小さな筆遣いで、小さな小さな想いを重ねて重ねていくことになります。

The spring sea evokes a sense of ease in my heart and a slowly flowing time. Above all, its magnanimity is appealing, and at the same time, its fine brightness is an existence that embraces everything. To paint it requires attention to minute nuances, layering small, tiny thoughts with small brushstrokes again and again.
