注文の多いヤマネコたち

作家のことば

　宮沢賢治「注文の多い料理店」から想を得て描きました。ヤマネコのモデルはわが家のネコ達です。彼らの姿には、野生や自然の気配を感じます。人は自然の中で生かされていることを忘れがちですが、畏敬と感謝の気持ちを大切にしていきたいです。

I drew inspiration from Kenji Miyazawa's The Restaurant of Many Orders. The models for the wildcats are my cats. I feel a sense of wildness and nature in their appearance. People tend to forget that they are sustained by nature, but I want to cherish a feeling of awe and gratitude.
