六月の尾瀬

作家のことば

　早朝、小鳥の鳴き声で目が覚めた。朝霧の中、森に石南花が咲き、水辺には水芭蕉、足もとに可愛い花が咲いていた。そして空を見上げると雲間から美しい雪形を残して聳え立つ燧ヶ岳の勇姿が現れた。

I woke up early to the chirping of small birds. In the morning mist, rhododendrons bloomed in the forest, skunk cabbage grew by the water, and pretty flowers were at my feet. Then, looking up at the sky, the majestic figure of Mt. Hiuchigatake appeared through a break in the clouds, preserving its beautiful snow patterns.
