大谷の奇岩群

作家のことば

　宇都宮市大谷の奇岩群を赤系の岩絵具で描きました。
　様々な形の岩がそびえ立ち、見る方向により全く印象が変わります。動物や人物、建造物を思わせるような独特な形をしています。幻想的な情景に心がひきこまれました。

I painted the cluster of strange rocks in Oya, Utsunomiya City, using red-toned mineral pigments.
Rocks of various shapes soar upwards, and the impression changes completely depending on the viewing direction. They have unique forms that suggest animals, people, or structures. My heart was drawn into the fantastical scene.
