　葉が落ち花梨が実る頃、何も知らない若き猿は、まだ青い実を奪い合う。それが意味のない事と知る猿は、その光景を静かに見つめている。はたして私は、意味のない事と知りつつも、一緒になって奪い合い、猿と一緒に大空に消えるのだろうか。あるがままに生きることの本質を「虚空（こくう）」に託した。

When the leaves fall and the quinces bear fruit, the young, ignorant monkeys fight over the still-green fruit. The monkey who knows this is a meaningless act quietly watches the scene. I wonder if I, knowing it is meaningless, will join the scramble and disappear into the great sky along with the monkeys. I entrusted the essence of living as one is to the "Void" (Kokuu).
