早春のまだ朝は寒い時期、小さな丘の上にそびえ立つ一本のイチョウの木に出会った。遠くからもその存在は周りの木々より圧倒的に群を抜いている。天を掴むかのように高く伸びている枝達は周囲の空気を吸い込み、まるで息をしているかのようだ。そしてそこには黄緑色に輝く小さな春が芽生えていた。

In early spring, when the mornings were still cold, I came across a single ginkgo tree towering on a small hill. Its presence stood out overwhelmingly from the surrounding trees, even from a distance. The branches, stretching high as if to grasp the heavens, seemed to breathe, inhaling the surrounding air. And there, a small, yellowish-green spring had budded.
