大海原に漂う一隻の小舟を描きました。ですが海や空は表現したいとは思わなく画面中心にただ一隻ポツンとあるだけの虚無感すら漂わせる空間のようなものを自分自身の心境と照らし合わせて描きました。

I painted a small boat drifting on the open sea. However, I didn't want to express the sea or the sky, so I painted a space, even one that suggests a sense of nihility, with just a single boat sitting in the center of the canvas, reflecting my own state of mind.
