作家のことば

山間の地に身を置き、風と水が交わる境を見つめながら制作しました。
季節の移ろいとともに光が変わり、空気が動き、柳が静かに応える。大地と水のあわい、そのわずかな“そよぎ”の中に、自然と人との距離、そして共に生きる感覚を見いだしています。生まれては還っていく自然の循環の中で、一瞬の息づきを描きとめたいと思いました。

I created this work while placing myself in a mountainous region and observing the boundary where wind and water meet.
As the seasons change, the light shifts, the air moves, and the willow responds quietly. I find the distance between nature and humanity, and the sense of co-existence, in that subtle "rustling" between the earth and the water. I wanted to capture a moment of breath within nature's cycle of birth and return.
