　巨大な翼をもつアンデスコンドル。インカの時代からアンデスの人々にとって天空の神の使いとして崇められてきた。大きな翼に惹かれて写生していると、私のすべてを見通しているかのような鋭い目に、恐ろしさと同時に言葉なき対話を感じた。そこには、太古から続く自然の叡智と、人知を超えた何かが確かに息づいていた。

The Andean Condor, with its giant wings. It has been revered by the people of the Andes as the messenger of the sky god since the time of the Incas. While sketching, drawn by its large wings, I felt a wordless dialogue along with a sense of awe from its sharp eyes, which seemed to see right through me. The wisdom of nature, enduring from ancient times, and something beyond human knowledge were certainly breathing there.
