凪の刻（Ⅱ）

作家のことば

　私の故郷の小さな漁港を取材した。
　先の東日本大震災により、漁港も一変してしまった。
　しかし、競りの始まる朝の漁港の活気と独特な磯の香りは今でも変わらない。
　凪の時間は波の音だけが聞こえる心休まるひとときである。

I researched a small fishing port in my hometown.
The fishing port was completely transformed by the recent Great East Japan Earthquake.
However, the bustle of the port in the morning at the start of the auction and the unique scent of the sea remain unchanged.
The time of calm is a moment of peace, where only the sound of the waves can be heard.
