　天台宗の祖最澄が建立した青蓮坊が起源とされる青蓮院は平安末期に改称され、粟田御所とも言われるように皇室にゆかりの深い寺院です。境内に聳える楠の巨木からは、まるで永い寺の歴史を物語っているかのような葉擦れの音が聞こえます。
　いま、ここ、それ、の背後にあるなにかを感じられるような作品であればと願います。

Shōren-in Temple, which is said to have originated from Shōren-bō founded by Saichō, the founder of the Tendai school of Buddhism, was renamed at the end of the Heian period and is a temple deeply connected to the Imperial Family, also known as Awata Gosho. Within the precincts,
the rustling of leaves can be heard from the towering giant camphor tree, as if telling the long history of the temple.
I hope this work allows viewers to feel something behind the "now," "here," and "that."
