作家のことば

　以前常宿にしていた宿屋さんの窓。そこからの眺望です。ガラスに映った射光が印象的で、数多くのスケッチを致しました。
　部屋に映える陽射しや月の光などが反射する情景は、絵ごころが湧くものでした。窓ガラスから透視したイメージを思いながら描きました。

The window of an inn where I used to stay frequently. This is the view from it. The light reflecting off the glass was impressive, and I made many sketches.
The scenes of sunlight, moonlight, and other light reflecting in the room inspired my desire to paint. I painted while recalling the image I saw through the window glass.
