今まで降っていた雨が霧雨となり、辺りには大きな水たまりが。此頃、水たまりを題材によく描いていたので、これは良い機会と出掛けました。ふと見れば電柱と木々が映り込んだ水たまり、人工物と自然物との対比が面白いと思わず何枚も写真を撮り描きました。最近水たまりもすぐに消えてしまうので、良いタイミングでした。

The rain that had been falling turned into a drizzle, leaving large puddles around.
Since I had often been using puddles as a subject lately, I thought this was a good opportunity and went out.
I happened to see a puddle reflecting telephone poles and trees, and the contrast between artificial objects and natural ones was so interesting that I spontaneously took many photos and painted them.
Puddles disappear quickly these days, so it was good timing.
