作家のことば

高台に上ると眼前に広大な砂丘と太平洋が現れます。波によって運ばれた砂は日光を受けてキラキラ輝きながら風に飛ばされ、長い時間をかけて不思議な造形を作ります。砂上に腰を下ろして描いていると、その美しさに時間を忘れてしまいます。波と風の音を思いながら、時・空間、自然の偉大さを感じていただけたら幸いです。

When ascending the high ground, a vast dune and the Pacific Ocean appear before my eyes. The sand carried by the waves sparkles under the sunlight and is blown by the wind, creating strange formations over a long period. Sitting on the sand to paint, I lose track of time in its beauty. I hope you can feel the greatness of time, space, and nature, while recalling the sounds of the waves and the wind.
