作家のことば

　天地万物を形成し、かつ生命力、活動力の根源である気。
　これが、若く健全な女性の体にこそ顕著に現れると考え、女性の裸像を造り続けてきました。
　宇宙、大地から吸収された気がこの人体に漲り、そしてまた生命力の発露として、宇宙、大地に還される＝気が通る＝様を感じていただけることを願っています。

Qi (life force/spirit), which forms all things in the universe and is the source of vitality and activity. I believe this is most clearly manifested in the body of a young, healthy woman, and so I have continued to create female nudes. I hope you can feel the way Qi absorbed from the cosmos and the earth flows into this human body, and then returns to the cosmos and the earth as an expression of life force—the flow of Qi.
