　昨年は能登半島地震、豪雨など大きな災害が続いた。今年は良い年になるかなと思ったら、また豪雨など暗い気持ちになる出来事が多く発生している。もっと心豊かに生活できないものかという思いを込めて、部屋で自分の時間をのんびりと過ごす女性の様子で思いを表現してみた。

Last year saw a succession of major disasters like the Noto Peninsula Earthquake and heavy rains. Just when I thought this year would be better, many depressing events, like more heavy rains, have occurred. With the hope that we could live with more emotional richness, I tried to express my feelings through the depiction of a woman spending her own time leisurely in a room.
