作家のことば

　東日本大震災の折、メディアでも紹介され、文科学省の白書にも載った被災した中学校の卒業式での答辞がありました。当時、何回か放映され、涙が止まりませんでした。気仙沼市立階上中学校、梶原祐太さんの答辞です。私にとって人生を支える言葉であると同時に、制作を続ける大きなテーマの一つとなりました。

During the Great East Japan Earthquake, there was a valedictory address at the graduation ceremony of a damaged junior high school, which was featured in the media and included in a white paper by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It was broadcast several times back then, and I couldn't stop crying. It was the address by Yuta Kajiwara from Kesennuma City Hashikami Junior High School. It became a phrase that supports me in life, and also one of the major themes I continue to pursue in my work.
