７番目の夢や希望

作家のことば

　かつて『65番目の夢』という、初老の男性をモチーフにした彫刻作品を制作したことがあります（一九九七年）。あれから二十八年、今回は子どもが抱く夢や希望を、『７番目の夢や希望』というタイトルを付して形象化しました。より大きく膨らむフォルムと人物で生まれる動勢感やバランスの妙がポイントです。

I once created a sculpture titled "The 65th Dream" (1997), which used an elderly man as a motif. Twenty-eight years later, this time I have given form to the dreams and hopes of a child, titling it "The 7th Dream and Hope." The points of focus are the expanding form and the exquisite sense of dynamism and balance created by the figure.
