作家のことば

　大地の力が山々を隆起させるが、それは逞しくも脆いものである。
　その力は不可視だが、自然は常に創造と破壊を循環させる。
　旧約聖書、カインとアベルの時代より、人類とてこの定めから免れることはできないのかと感じてしまう。
　カルデラ…その形は生命の断片の形象として私の記憶と強く重なる。

The Earth's power uplifts the mountains, but it is both robust and fragile. This power is invisible, but nature constantly cycles between creation and destruction. I cannot help but feel that humanity, since the time of Cain and Abel in the Old Testament, cannot escape this fate. Caldera... its form strongly overlaps with my memory as the image of a fragment of life.
