方舟―漂―

作家のことば

　小さな舟で沖に出ると四方を海に囲まれ、その開放感や雄大さに感動すると同時に、言いようのない恐怖が押し寄せてきます。海原を漂うような心地よさと揺り動かされ呑まれるような不安感、相反する気持ちを綯い交ぜにして表現しました。

When going out to sea in a small boat, surrounded by the ocean on all four sides, I am moved by the sense of openness and grandeur, but at the same time, an unspeakable terror washes over me. I expressed these conflicting emotions—the comfort of drifting on the ocean and the anxiety of being tossed and swallowed—by twisting them together.
