作家のことば

　少年の肩に、信頼しきった猫が飛び乗る。
　身を預ける猫の姿は、緊張感と安定感を同時に感じさせる構成を意識した。
　少年の穏やかな表情と対比させながら、静止の中に潜む運動性をイメージし、人と動物の間にある静かな絆と日常のひとときに宿るやすらぎを表現した。

A fully trusting cat leaps onto the boy's shoulder. I focused on a composition where the figure of the cat leaning on the boy simultaneously conveys a sense of tension and stability. Contrasting with the boy's gentle expression, I imagined the dynamism latent in stillness and expressed the quiet bond between humans and animals and the tranquility found in an ordinary moment.
