塑造での制作後、石膏に材質転換した後、直付けの技法で再彫刻をしています。近年、人体と布を組み合わせた形象を試みています。その中で、立像としての縦の動きではなく、横への動きの表現に挑戦してみました。トルソとしての形象について再考することができたように思います。

After creating the form in clay, I converted the material to plaster, and then re-carved it using the jiketsuke (direct application) technique. In recent years, I have been attempting to combine the human body and fabric in my forms. Within this, I challenged myself to express horizontal movement rather than the vertical movement of a standing statue. I feel that I was able to reconsider the form as a torso.
