作家のことば

風に乗って軽やかな足音が聞えてきた。幼子を中心に散歩しているファミリーだろうか、幸せいっぱいの光景に出合い過ぎし日に同様の体験をした私、記憶と重ね制作いたしました。今回の作品は両サイドの父母の胴体を造らず手足の表現と配置だけで我子を見守りながら歩く親子の絆と愛情を観る側に感じてほしい。

Light footsteps were heard carried on the wind. Could it be a family taking a walk centered around a small child? Encountering this scene full of happiness, I who had a similar experience in the past, created this piece by layering it with my memory. In this work, I want the viewer to feel the bond and affection of the parents walking while watching over their child, expressed only through the depiction and placement of the hands and feet, without sculpting the torsos of the parents on both sides.
