皆既日食の神秘性や宇宙感、存在感などを表現した。樹の持つ命の痕跡と造形が一つになった生命感を目指した。側面は上下と続くリズムを表し、左右から正面へと段階的に静とした。輪は立体感を強調し縦の時間や日蝕を表した。前作で会得した自身を忘れずそれ以上のものになるよう意識した。現代美術でもある。

I expressed the mystery, cosmic sense, and presence of a total solar eclipse. I aimed for a sense of life where the trace of life held by the tree and the form become one. The sides represent a continuing rhythm up and down, and the progression from left and right towards the front creates a sense of stillness. The ring emphasizes the three-dimensionality and represents vertical time and the solar eclipse. I was conscious of not forgetting what I had gained in the previous work and aimed for something even greater. This is also contemporary art.
