萩釉陶壺「存在・2025」

作家のことば

　草花や樹木、大自然が、存在を主張しているように感じることがあります。私の作品にも、普遍的な存在感を出したいと思いました。
　制作は、萩焼の陶土を使用し、ロクロ成形、数回の登り窯焼成による松薪の強い炎の窯変効果などによる。

I sometimes feel that flowers, trees, and great nature assert their presence. I wanted my work to also possess a universal presence.
The production process involved using Hagi ware pottery clay, wheel forming, and employing the strong flame-induced kiln-change effects from multiple firings in a climbing kiln, fired with pine wood.
