雲の器・静日

作家のことば

　近年器体の上面に月にみたてた円盤を配置し、青釉で雲を描いていましたが、雲の形を切り抜くことで花器としての口造りが出来ると思い制作しました。器体にはシルクロードの地で見かけた現地の老人を九谷の色で表現し、静かな夜の情景を表現しました。

In recent years, I have been placing a moon-like disc on the top surface of the vessel and painting clouds with blue glaze, but I thought I could create the vessel's mouth by cutting out the shape of the cloud, and so I did. On the body of the vessel, I depicted a local elder I saw in the Silk Road region using Kutani colors, expressing a quiet night scene.
