　米国コロラド州南西部に位置するするメサ・ヴェルデ国立公園はプエブロインディアンが残した断崖をくりぬいた一連の集落遺跡群で、その聖地には彼らの魂が潜んでいた。その魂と交信しながら、固まった土が侵食されゆく姿、柔らかな土に火がもたらす断裂などを応用し、彼らから伝授された色土で加彩し、この神秘を器とした。

Mesa Verde National Park in southwestern Colorado, USA, is a series of ancient settlements carved into the cliffs left by the Pueblo Indians, and their souls lurked in that sacred place. Communicating with those souls, I applied techniques like using the appearance of solidified earth being eroded and the ruptures caused by fire on soft earth, coloring it with earth pigments taught to me by them, and created this mystery as a vessel.
