作家のことば

　土砂降りの雨をイメージした作品。世界中の嫌な空気感や、異常気象のなせる色々な事柄が、つい数年前と比べてもすっかり変わってしまっている、そんな違和感を表現した。「のち晴れ」は、そんな不安の中でも明日はきっと晴れると願う気持ちを、真ん中の隙間からの光で感じてもらいたいと思いながら制作した。

This work is an image of a downpour. It expresses the unsettling feeling that the world's unpleasant atmosphere and various events caused by abnormal weather have completely changed compared to just a few years ago. "Later, fine weather" was created with the hope that even amidst such anxiety, the light passing through the gap in the center would convey the wish that tomorrow will surely be sunny.
