作家のことば

　茫漠としてとりとめのないイメージの霞の中に、やがてそれは姿を現し形体をなしてゆく。
　その過程を、鉄を素材に現象的な存在へと変容させ、最終的に色彩を求めて七宝で彩色をほどこした。

In the vast, rambling haze of imagery, it eventually appears and takes form.
I transformed that process into a phenomenal existence using iron as the material, and finally sought color, applying enamel (*shippō*) for coloring.
