作家のことば

　こうこうと輝く月の夜には、軽やかな気分で藍色の夜空を駆け上がり、浮遊してみたい、夜空に身を委ねる解放感に時を忘れて漂ってみたい。そのような願望を題材としました。
　技法は真糊を使った本友禅染です。

On a brightly shining moonlit night, I want to ascend the indigo night sky with a light heart, float, and drift away, forgetting time in the liberation of entrusting myself to the night sky. I took this desire as my subject.
The technique is *hon-yūzen* (traditional Yuzen dyeing) using rice flour and rice bran paste.
