作家のことば

　今回は境界をテーマに作品を制作しました。
　漆は九千年前から人と関わりのある素材で、この素材を扱って制作をしていると永い時を感じてなりません。
　漆で「過去と未来」を繫ぐ道具が出来たらと夢を見て制作しました。

This time, I created a work with the theme of boundaries.
Lacquer is a material that has been associated with humans for nine thousand years, and working with it makes me feel the immense passage of time.
I created this work with the dream of making a tool that could *tsunagu* (connect) "past and future" with lacquer.
