時空の織物

作家のことば

　縺れた量子同士の関係が、無数に重なり生成される事を、時空の織物と言います。作品のアイデアはその分野が離れているもの同士を組み合わせるほど、面白い表現が出来るとの思いから、人形のテーマに量子力学の考えを選びました。細い肢体の表現とその動きを表す工夫や、衛星写真のような地球の組み合わせが面白いと思いました。

The relationship between entangled quanta, overlapping and generating in countless ways, is called the fabric of spacetime. The idea for this work came from the thought that the more disparate the fields combined, the more interesting the expression would be, so I chose the concept of quantum mechanics for the doll theme. I found the expression of the slender limbs and the ingenuity to express their movement, combined with the satellite-photo-like Earth, to be interesting.
