　対峙する二つの形が、寄り添って立つ。それぞれの曲面のふくらみと凹みが弧を描き空間をつくる。他方の、直線とフラットな面に呼応しながら上に伸びる。相対する互いの要素が響き合う空間の造形を思考する。
　クレイで原型制作、石膏で型取り、レジンで素地成形、漆を施す。最後に粉を蒔き付けて、石目塗り。

Two opposing forms stand close together. The swell and recession of each curved surface describe an arc, creating space. The other side, with its straight lines and flat surfaces, rises upwards in response. I contemplate the sculptural form of a space where relative elements resonate with each other.
The process is: prototype created with clay, molded with plaster, base shaped with resin, then lacquer applied. Finally, powder is sprinkled to achieve the *ishime-nuri* (stone-grain lacquer) finish.
