作品が習慣化し惰性化しない様に、テーマを考える。「能装束は、布を直線的に裁断し、そのまま縫い合わせる日本古来の衣服構造が人間の肉体性を消している。その立ち姿が直線的な構成が故に、抽象化された特異な野守の存在感を表し、観る者に自然への畏怖の念を象徴的に連想させる。」そんなイメージを確かなものとして感じとりたい。

I consider themes so that my work does not become habitual or complacent. "Noh costumes, with their ancient Japanese clothing structure of straight-cut and sewn fabric, eliminate the physicality of the human body. Because of this linear composition of the standing figure, it expresses the abstract, unique presence of a *Nomori* (field guard), symbolically associating the viewer with a sense of awe toward nature." I want to firmly feel this image.
