私は、植物の「苞」と呼ばれる部分のイメージから、大切なものを優しく守る為に、幾重にも包み込んでいく様子を表現しました。叩き絞漆技法でテクスチャーを作った表面に銀粉を粉っぽく撒くことにより、陰影が柔らかくなり、内へと守られたものへの優しい抱擁感を表しました。

Inspired by the part of a plant called the "bract" (*hō*), I expressed the way something important is wrapped in multiple layers to gently protect it. By dusting silver powder lightly onto the surface textured with the *tataki shibori urushi* (hammering/drawing lacquer) technique, the shadows soften, expressing a gentle embrace of the protected object within.
