波の如く

人生年を重ねる中で、いろいろな出来事が起きてくる。それは、時には大きく激しい波の様に。また時には優しいさざ波の様に押し寄せては引いていく。その波を視覚的、感覚的に表現した。鉄線編みで形成したものに籐の持つしなやかさを生かし曲線を描いて融合させた。表面に黒漆を施し、一層艶やかな仕上りとした。

As one grows older, various events occur in life. Sometimes like large, intense waves. Other times, like gentle ripples, they wash in and recede. I expressed these waves both visually and emotionally. I formed the piece by weaving iron wire, utilizing the suppleness of rattan to create curves and fuse them. Black lacquer was applied to the surface, resulting in a more lustrous finish.
