手びねりで成形後、串状の道具を用いて一点一点を刺突する点刻文を、光が拡散するように施した。イメージしたのは始まりの風景。広がり始めた光は波動となって宇宙に溶け込んでゆく。そこに命が無限の未来に繋がる希望を託した。躍動感を意識した形状は、創造のエネルギーとともに何事にも挫けない強い意志を象徴している。

After hand-building the form, I applied a *tenkoku-mon* (dot-carving pattern) by piercing the surface repeatedly with a skewer-like tool, making the light appear to diffuse. The image is of a landscape at the beginning. The light, having begun to spread, dissolves into the cosmos as a wave. I entrusted the hope that life connects to an infinite future there. The dynamic shape symbolizes the energy of creation and a strong will that does not yield to any obstacle.
