早春の風

作家のことば

　生命の崇高さ、そして自然の輝きや美しさを表現したく、今作では早春に吹き渡る風を主たるフォルムとし制作いたしました。素材となる銅板が持つ特性を可能な限り引き出しながらいかに奥行きやリズム感を感じる風を表出するか、着色も含め大変苦心しました。
　作品の中から思い思いの風を想像していただけたら幸いです。

I wanted to express the nobility of life and the brilliance and beauty of nature, and for this work, I used the wind that sweeps through early spring as the main form. I struggled immensely, including with the coloring, to bring out the characteristics of the copper sheet material as much as possible, and to express a wind that conveys depth and rhythm.
I hope you can imagine your own sense of wind from the work.
