河上肇詩

作家のことば

　河上肇の詩はこれまでにも作品にしたことはあるが、昭和二十年生まれの自分として、この詩こそは戦後八十年の今年、書いておかねばなるまいとの思いである。昭和の二字はあえてこの字体を用いてみた。

I have used poems by Hajime Kawakami in my work before, but as someone born in Showa 20 (1945), I felt this poem absolutely had to be written this year, the 80th anniversary of the war's end. I deliberately used this particular style for the two characters of Showa.
