作家のことば

　現在作品制作に当たり最も大切にしている事の中に、「瑞々しい線」を追求しています。原点はやはり古典を意識した線情、線の太細、文字の大小関係、動中の静など。いかに立体感を持ち、自然の美しさ、勇大な遠近感…、いつも試行錯誤しながら現在のかなの創造的表現はいかにあるべきか、自問自答しながら書作しています。

Among the things I value most in my current work is the pursuit of "fresh, dewy lines" (*mizumizushii sen*). The origin is always the line sentiment conscious of the classics, the thick/thinness of the lines, the relationship between large/small characters, and stillness within movement. I constantly explore how to achieve three-dimensionality, the beauty of nature, magnificent perspective... and I continually write, questioning what the creative expression of *kana* should be today.
