　隷書体における文字の構造上の特徴は、整然と並ぶ長い横画にあります。またこの書体にだけ許された表現として左払いを止めて壁にし、派手な右払い（波磔）を付ける技法があります。他の書体に比べて扁平な姿をとるのはこれらが起因しているからです。少しでも特徴を助長して欲しく、横額作品に取り組みました。

The structural feature of the clerical script (*reisho*) is its neatly arranged long horizontal strokes. Also, a technique permitted only in this script is to stop the left sweeping stroke, creating a wall, and adding a flamboyant right sweeping stroke (*hataku*). The reason it takes a flattened appearance compared to other scripts is due to these characteristics. I tackled this horizontal format work, wishing to enhance these features even slightly.
