　拾遺和歌集より、三首選歌しました。
　墨色の自然な変化と散らしの景色が調和して、清らな作品になるようにと願って筆をとりました。
　今年も、横八尺に挑戦しましたが、紙面を活かし切れたのかと、思いが残りました。

I selected three poems from the *Shūi Wakashū* (Collection of Gleanings).
I took up the brush, hoping that the natural changes in ink tone and the composition of the scattered writing would harmonize, resulting in a pure work.
This year too, I challenged the eight-foot horizontal format, but I felt a lingering regret over whether I fully utilized the paper surface.
