作家のことば

　数年続く各地の戦争。それらに対する憤懣の気持ちを漢詩に込めて揮毫しました。転結は対句で、「鬩牆」（ゲキショウ）とは隣同士の争いのこと。「撃壌」（ゲキジョウ）とは平和を楽しむ形容です。用紙は古い銀屛風を剝がし、一行の文字数に変化をつけてみました。

The wars continuing in various places for several years. I inscribed a Chinese poem that expresses my indignation towards them. The third and fourth lines are a couplet: "*Gekishō*" (鬩牆) means a dispute between neighbors. "*Gekijō*" (撃壌) describes the enjoyment of peace. I used old silver-painted paper that I stripped down, and varied the number of characters per line.
