作家のことば

　共感した信州安曇野の彫刻家荻原碌山の言葉を題材に、読みやすさを考慮しながら、白と黒、そして漢字と仮名が調和した自然感が漂う明るい世界を試みました。文字の大小長短など字形の表情と、行の揺れや肥瘦に変化を付けながら、七つの行が関連し一体になるよう意識しました。

Taking the words of Rokuzan Ogiwara, a sculptor from Azumino, Shinshu, that resonated with me, as the subject, I attempted to create a bright world with a natural atmosphere, harmonizing black and white, and Kanji and *kana*, while considering legibility. I consciously varied the expression of the characters, such as size and length, as well as the sway and thickness/thinness of the lines, aiming for the seven lines to relate and form a unified whole.
