　良寛の詩集から五言詩の中の四句二十字を和紙に収めました。墨は中国の少々古いものを使用しました。最近やっと詩文の内容にこだわる年齢になってきました。温雅で深味のある作となるよう心掛けましたが、さてさて…。書美の奥深さをあらためて感じた次第です。『書』とのご縁に感謝です。

I inscribed four lines of a five-character poem from Ryōkan's poetry collection onto Japanese paper. I used somewhat old Chinese ink. Recently, I have reached an age where I finally pay attention to the content of the poem. I aimed for a work that is gentle and profound, but well, well... I realized anew the depth of calligraphic beauty. I am grateful for my connection with *Sho* (calligraphy).
