　新古今集の和歌を一首選んで書きました。和様の自然な線の美しさを求めて制作しています。文字と文字の関係、行と行の関係の美しさ、ゆったりとした作品を求めて制作しています。巧みすぎない作品を基本的には求めて制作していますが、望みが難しいのかと思っています。

I selected and wrote one *waka* poem from the *Shin Kokin Wakashū*. I am pursuing the natural beauty of the Japanese style line. I aim for a relaxed work that values the beautiful relationships between characters and between lines. I fundamentally seek works that are not overly skillful, but I wonder if that wish is too difficult.
